Agreeing to these terms
By using Upright you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
Who can use Upright
You must be 13 or older, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
Your account
You’re responsible for your phone and your account. Tell us if you think someone else has used it.
Subscriptions and payments
Pro is sold through the App Store as a yearly or monthly subscription. Subscriptions renew until you cancel in your Apple account settings.
Free trials
The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Upright sends a notification 2 days before it ends, if you allow notifications for Upright. If you don’t cancel, the subscription starts.
Buddies and consent
Only invite people who have agreed to hear from you. A buddy must say yes before we contact them, and can stop at any time.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Upright to harass anyone, to send messages to people who haven’t agreed, or to interfere with the service.
Alarms are a tool, not a guarantee
We work hard to make alarms reliable, but phones can be switched off, run out of battery or change settings. Don’t rely on Upright alone where missing an alarm could cause harm.
Health and safety
Only do physical missions such as push-ups if they’re safe for you. You can switch to another mission at any time.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimers and limits of liability
Upright is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, including being late.
Changes to these terms
We’ll tell you in the app before important changes take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Upright Labs is registered, unless your local law gives you other rights.
