My alarm didn’t ring
Alarms are allowed
Settings, Apps, Upright, then turn on Alarms.
Ringer volume is up
Alarms play at ringer volume. Settings, Sounds and Haptics.
The alarm was on
Check it wasn’t switched off or skipped for that day.
Upright isn’t locked or hidden
iPhone can’t ring alarms for apps locked with Face ID or hidden. Touch and hold the Upright icon to check.
Upright is still installed
Settings, General, iPhone Storage: make sure it wasn’t offloaded.
Your phone had battery
Alarms can’t ring if the phone is off.
Run a test
In Upright, Settings, Test my alarm. It rings in 1 minute.
Send a reliability report
- Open Upright and tap the gear on Today.
- Tap Send a reliability report.
- Add a line about what happened, then send. We’ll reply by email.
The report includes alarm times, permission settings and app version. Never photos, voice recordings or the texts you read.
