Someone asked you to be their wake-up buddy.
If they don’t get up for their alarm, you get one text so you can call them. On mornings they’re up, you hear nothing.
The text you’d get
This is the whole message. It only comes if they’re still in bed 15 minutes after their alarm.
What saying yes means
- How often
- At most one text a morning, and only on mornings they miss. If they get up after that, a short follow-up tells you so.
- Cheers
- From your invite link you can send them a short cheer, like “Proud of you”. They see it after their next alarm. One a day.
- To stop
- Reply STOP to any text. You’re off straight away, and they aren’t told why.
- Cost
- Free. Your carrier’s usual message rates may apply.
- The app
- Not needed. Everything happens by text and one web page.
- What we store
- The name they saved you under, your phone number, the date you said yes, and the dates we texted you. Never your contacts or your location.
- Deleting it
- Reply STOP, or email privacy@getupright.app and we delete everything about you within 30 days.
